- This dataset is an archive of data relevant to the old Bathing Water Directive (76/160/EEC) and won't be updated now the directive is no longer in force. For the latest bathing water quality information please see https://environment.data.gov.uk/wales/bathing-waters/index.html. Every week during the bathing season (15 May to 30 September 1988-2014), the Environment Agency took samples from coastal and inland designated bathing waters.
